Thomas McFall, or @thomas_mcfall on Twitter, generally uses his social media account for jokes, but his last post about convicting someone in his classroom has people who are extreme sincerely cried.
McFall explained in a series of tweets that he sits in the same seat every day in his management course. He also always sits next to the same man he describes as a "foreigner" who does not speak much English.
McFall admitted that he judged this man throughout the semester (though he does admit that part of that verdict is probably from the man's rudimentary English and McFall's perception that he is a stranger – he only says that he is annoying). It seems McFall has scattered all his belongings over McFall's desk every time McFall goes to class, where the guy knows he's sitting every day.
Until recently, McFall did not understand why this guy would do such a thing. Does not he know that McFall is coming? But then one day he saw what was going on before he arrived in the classroom:
Many people are moved by history because they have witnessed people's xenophobia and racism They knew the United States without the perfect English:
Others related their own ignorance:
Some found it incredibly heartwarming while others pointed out that McFall did not really do anything except to be an A-hole for the nice guy in his class who does not speak English well:
Some said it there may seem like McFall did not do much, but you never know how small things will be to humans:
And overall, the story that is shared and shared means more Men Think about how they perceive differences and judge people based on these perceptions.
You never know who a friend might be if you just try to understand them.
