Although he is now publicly recognized, the Navy veterinarian has been coming to school for several years. Both he and his wife used to leave, but now she is no longer able to walk well enough to meet the children. Wally continues his tradition that makes him happy and allows him to inspire these children.

Give words of wisdom

Wally not only welcomes the children with punching, but also shares good words and advice with them. Many students flock to him before they go to their first grade. "It's the best part of the day," a student, Audrey Arnold, said in an interview.
