But they did not pass before they left an important legacy that was remembered years later. The Sachs Media Group has teamed up with the photo-restoration and manipulation company Phojoe to design a gallery of these remembered stars and what they would look like today. Kurt Cobain: Grunge or grandpa?
Kurt Cobain committed suicide on April 5, 1994. He fought drug addiction for much of his adult life. He was only 27 years old and is a member of the infamous 27 Club – a group of celebrities who died at the age of 27 years. An artist designed his idea of how Cobain would look today at the age of 51. Not bad!
Elvis Presley: Still the king
The King of Rock and Roll died on August 16, 1977, when he was only 42 years old. His drug use played an important role in his sudden death on his estate Graceland. The Beatles co-founder, John Lennon, was tragically murdered on December 8, 1980, when he was only 40 years old. The music icon was killed by Mark David Chapman, but that did not stop people from loving his music. Nearly 40 years later, music fans still love the Beatles and Lennon's commitment to inspire others to seek peace. An artist recently painted a portrait of what the artist would look like today at the age of 77. Imagine!
Janis Joplin: Another little piece of her life
Janis Joplin is another member of the 27 Club. She died of an overdose of heroin on October 4, 1970, when she was only 27 years old. Nicknamed "Pearl," Joplin was an American rock, soul, and blues singer-songwriter, but she died too soon. Therefore, an artist designed a portrait of how Joplin would look today at the age of 75. She looks like she's a cool grandma!
Jimi Hendrix: Classic Cool
Another member of the 27 Club, Jimi Hendrix died on September 18, 1970 from choking on his own vomit while he slept. Hendrix is the greatest guitarist of a rock musician, Hendrix has had more than he has in his 27 years, but at least we'll always have his music. on Artist painted a portrait of how he would look today 75 years old.
