When a man chooses the location for your first date, it's a great way to get a glimpse into his personality. Is he more than a raging party type or a quiet intellectual? Here are some of the most popular first date options and what they are saying about possible bae.
1. Go to a local cinema
This could go both ways, but it definitely means no initial fireworks – it's hard to gauge the chemistry if you sit in the dark for two hours watching a movie. It could mean that he is antisocial or a bit awkward.
2. Get drinks in a club
This is a red flag that the guy is a party animal and needs alcohol and pulsating music to socialize. It could mean he intends to get you drunk, and it probably means he's a narcissism. Keep an eye out for better views in whichever club you visit.
3. Go to a carnival or amusement park
This is a sure sign that your husband is fun and adventurous. He chose an innocent date with no other motives and shows that he has the potential to be a family man. He also wants to spend a lot of time with you as this is a full-time activity.
4. Fantastic dinner in a restaurant
No girl will be upset about this prospect, and this is a pretty sure first bet. However, it's not the most creative idea, and if you're out of the box, unconventional girl, this guy might be a bit boring for you
5. Go to a sports game
If you are not an athletic chick, this is probably the worst nightmare. But if you have a competitive situation, such as a wild environment, and are extroverted, you will be charmed by this life of the party that renounces something.
6. Invited to dinner
It may seem sweet that a man invites you into his house to cook for you – something from a Rom-Com, right? No. This is reserved for later in the relationship, and this is just a glorified loot call.
7. Invites you to a friend's party
This is strange because it is too early to meet his friends, but obviously he wanted to kill two birds by inviting you to a first date at his Homies Party. That means he did not want to break off his plans or miss a party just to hang out with you.
8. Date of the coffee
Many people think that this is more of a platonic movement than a romantic one. It is daytime and takes less time than a dinner. Maybe he just tests the water and checks if it's worth the next step. As soon as you charm him, you will not be able to resist.
9th art exhibition
This is a pretty cool first date – even if you do not get along, you have to experience art. A guy who takes you along on this day is so sophisticated and cultivated or at least wants you to think that he is. Check the authenticity!
A picnic is one of our favorite date options. It's brave – there are no distractions. Only you, he and nature. No place for phones to avoid eye contact, like in a bar. He really wants to know if he's planning a whole picnic – that can scare you, but once you smile, it'll melt away.
