Do we really look like our pets?

Some people may not find it flattering to be told that they just look like their dogs. However, many animals seem to take on the look of their humans. A unique experiment to reveal the truth

In 2008, Gethings adopted a little terrier called Baxter, and the puppy made him fall in love with photographing animals. Is there a better way to appreciate the race that motivated it first, rather than focusing on the unique relationship between canines and their owners? In an attempt to prove that humans and their pets resemble each other, Gethings began photographing a number of dedicated dog owners and their canines. The resulting pictures were not only gorgeous – they were very accurate!

More sinister than you can imagine

Under the Instagram hashtag #dooyoulooklikeyourdog Gethings has uploaded his beautiful and spooky collection. Of course, the Internet has fallen in love with the amazing similarities between the dogs and the owners he photographed. Can you deal with the similarities in his series? The colors? The smile? Fur and hair? While science has said that pet owners are more likely to pick creatures that are similar to them, Gethings believes everything is a matter of ego.

Gethings accept the reason

"I suspect, if we have beauty in one dog"We're probably pointing one finger at ourselves," Gethings said. "It's subconscious, but still." Even Gething admits his puppy is sharing his light brown hair and beard! Whether you are a dog lover or not, you can not deny the amazing similarities between the owners and the canines in Gethings expansive series!
