A wedding should be one of the happiest experiences in a couple's relationship. However, for members of the LGBTQ + community, judgment and hatred can sometimes suppress their special day. However, this young couple received the sweetest question from a young man on their wedding day and could not help but burst into tears.
The spectacular wedding ceremony
For members of the LGBTQ + community, it can be nerve-wracking to be in a relationship. It can bring judgments and setbacks from friends, family and strangers. For this reason, queer weddings are so special – they are a proof of survival in the face of adverse circumstances. And love really won with these two brides.
In the beautiful Glasgow Botanical Gardens on Valentine's Day 2017, Bea Webster and Emma married Webster Mockett. Her special day was monumental for the deeply in love couple. However, they were not the only ones turned that day. They also blew the minds of a little boy who came outside of his ceremony. He was astonished by their union in the sweetest way.
To answer a curious child
As they left their ceremony, Bea and Emma went hand in hand. They stopped their wedding dresses when a photographer took beautiful pictures of his departure. Finally they entered a public part of the gardens. They had to get some looks. Nevertheless, the newlyweds did not receive hatred. In fact, they came across a little boy whose healthy worldview brought tears of joy to his eyes.
When they took their pictures, they passed a little boy and his mother. The boy looked at the duo and exclaimed a few precious words: "Look at these princesses!" He and his mother glowed at the couple's beauty, but did not recognize them as brides. Instead, he saw her as a princess. However, he was curious if any of them were married, and his reaction to their marriage caused Bea and Emma to cry.
The boy's touching response
"Did any of you get married?" The boy asked. Bea and Emma told him they were getting married! The boy initially seemed surprised, but he was amazed at their spectacular union. "Two princesses then?" He asked innocently.
When asked, his mother replied, "Yes, two princesses can marry! "The boy looked fascinated by the beautiful couple's union. From her photographs it is clear that Bea and Emma were overwhelmed emotion, The happiness the child had awakened from his love seemed to bring them immense hope and joy. His radiant face shows that he was as surprised as she was!
